I don't know where the before picture is, but if I find it I will post it later. Gido has finished another project. It turned out quite well. It is really comfortable too. I can't remember exactly, but I think this chair was eighty dollars at the auction. There is another auction on Saturday and he wants to go to get another project. I have signed up to work that day. He has never gone to the auction solo. Stay tuned.

Sunday Morning

Date night last night. Saw The Bourne Ultimatum. Shared popcorn. Max unimpressed at being left behind to babysit the girls.
I joined a gym. I even have a personal trainer. Her name is Cathy. She suggested that I write down what I eat for a few days. I started to keep a journal of how much I work out and run and also, how much I eat. I was shocked at how much I actually eat and the calorie content of some of that stuff. For example, I ate a cup of peanuts for a snack at 828 calories. I would have to run for two hours to use up that many calories. It is a good eye-opening exercise. She asked me what my goals were regarding training, and I told her that I want to be a better, stronger runner with nice arms. But I don't want big bulky arm muscles. I want pretty arms. Like Winter. I like her arms.
When I grow up I want to be like my kids.

Bonsai!!

Spent time with our little man last week. He has a nice deep voice. When he gets going with a soliloquy, he sounds like a sumo wrestler. I couldn't help but add Bonsai!! at the end and punctuate it with a grunt.

I do believe that I am the luckiest woman in the world.

Kids Call It Body Art!

He has been tattooed! Not quite like the kids, who chose the design, not quite like Max and the girls, who wear numbers in their ears so we can find them easier if they get lost. He has three. They make lining up the machines easier for the radiation treatment. He said that he probably couldn't get a full tattoo because of the pain, but I have been toying with the idea of getting him one in his ear in case he decides to make a run for it!

How Gido Spent His Week In Ottawa

August Update

Things have been a little crazy around here. It is hard to keep news up to date. It is summer vacation. I'm loving every minute of it. I have been keeping busy getting the house semi-decent for potential house hunters. We have to keep right on top of things with three cats and a large dog. Too much pet hair and dander might turn people off. (It turns me off!) Gido and I took a little side trip to Ottawa to visit "The Babe". Shaved his head. Its a religious thing. Video to follow. Spent a lot of time shopping at "crouchingtigerhiddendragon" aka Giant Tiger. Got three bikinis! Even wore them. Took the price tags right off baby! Going with Gido on Tuesday to get his mapping done for the radiation treatments. Will try to be more religious with updates. Ciao for now!
