Dear Winter,

I had a nightmare last night. I dreamt that I was walking across a bridge when all of a sudden I heard a gunshot and then I saw hundreds of people running towards me. I panicked because I realized that I was late for the race, and had forgotten to meet you at the airport the day before. I ran to the start line and hoped that I could find you and also catch up to the other runners, but just before I got there I could see that they had taken down the start sign and put up the finish sign and I didn't get a chance to look for you because I woke up. FREAKED ME OUT!

Dr. Mom

Had a good laugh today. I was reminded by Thelma that I have this habit of suggesting "home remedies" for whatever it is that ails you. Like the time that I suggested to a girlfriend that baking soda would make a good facial exfoliator and would be cheaper than the fancy store bought ones. She tried it and I am happy to say that she forgave me even if she hasn't forgotten! Funny thing, tonight I googled it. It is amazing to see how many sites promote it. I still give advice, but now I like to remind people that I don't know what I am talking about. One more thing, before I go, I watched a program on TV the other night about fertility dolls of all kinds and was surprised to see that Barbie can be placed under the bed as a fertility doll. Just putting it out there folks. Do with it what you will!

Pre-Naptime Coverage

Don't ask me what I've been doing or where I've been. I couldn't tell you. The past few weeks have been a blur. I can see from the state of my house that I haven't been doing spring cleaning, dishes or laundry. The place is a disaster zone. It is no wonder that Gido didn't see Demetrius slip out of the house last night when I took Max out for a pee. Thank God that the neighbors were outside in the rain and carried our little man home. It can make you crazy if you think about what could have happened. We need a fence and an alarm system, ...GPS and handcuffs while we are at it. Friday night sleepovers are taking their toll on us. Saturdays now include recovery naps for Gido and I. Thanks to Winter and Justin, we are expecting our seventh grandchild in September and we are over the moon in love with each and every one of them.
