Saturday Afternoon

Work, work, work. Got to love it. I spent the day at my old office yesterday. I packaged up some instruments, tried on uniforms for size, laughed with old friends and met some new ones. I am really looking forward to working again. I miss spending my days with friends. I am going to be working on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The office is being expanded and it is hoped to be finished by the middle of next month. I will start at the beginning of the month though, and work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday until the new rooms are ready. I am also still working at the other office until they find someone. That job has been a lot of fun as well. I think that I'll just get things figured out and then it will be time to go. I am really glad that I got the chance to do it. Oh, by the way, we finished our hill training on Thursday night. You know that you are old when you call your quads "thighs", as in "gee, my thighs are sore!", and the instructor says, "yeah, the first place you'll feel it is in your quads!", and I momentarily picture a four wheeled all-terrain vehicle in my brain before I go "yeah, hey!" And then I unfurrow my brow and nod knowingly!

Thursday Afternoon

Hills. That is where we are at in training. There aren't many hills here though. In fact, we are only running on one. We run up and then we run down, and then we repeat. I believe that our hill used to be a garbage pile that we covered with dirt, but I am not positive. Maybe that is just the other one. We have two hills. I think that the other one is leaking.
