2008 Dragon Boat Race Day!

We couldn't have had a better day for yesterday's Dragon Boat Festival. The sun was shining, the waters were calm and nobody got hurt. We ran a couple of decent races. We got a little wild with the oars on the last one though. Technique went out the window as the competition became closer. I am not sure where we finished in the standings. I am already looking forward to next year!

Sunday Morning

I know that it has been awhile since we last visited. I have been amiss I am afraid. I have thought of you often. We attended the wedding of Gido's niece earlier this month. It featured a candy buffet that was very impressive! The food and entertainment were perfect.

I danced until I had blisters! My feet still bare the scars. I loved every minute of it. We wish the bride and groom a long life of love, luck and happiness. We were also able to attend the wedding of my niece the following weekend. It had been too long since I had visited my family. We had a very good time together. It was a perfect vacation. Summer of 2008 was fabulous!
